Ulbendorf

From the middle of the 1980s onwards, the Ulberndorf quarry was opened up by agriculture for the extraction of road construction material. With the fall of the Wall, the Schwarz Group took over the quarry and received mining rights from the state of Saxony. In the Ulberndorf quarry, mineral mixtures, frost protection materials as well as various gravel products and armor stones are currently being produced for the regional market.
